Come Out To Play

This August, Faber Loop will be designated as a car-free zone on the first Saturday of every month to enable pedestrians and the public to enjoy activities freely between 4pm and 7pm.

Called ‘Let’s Lepak at Mount Faber’, this car-free event is jointly brought to you by NParks and Mount Faber Leisure Group. It will create a 800m stretch of closed road along Faber Loop, located near the cross-section leading to and from Mount Faber park and Henderson Waves pedestrian bridge.

With this, Faber Loop will join the list of car-lite streets across Singapore including Keong Saik Road, Haji Lane, Liang Seah Street and Circular Road.

During the designated 4-hour car-free periods, pedestrians can enjoy activities on the hilltop, surrounded by the forest. A series of programs is being jointly curated with wellness associations and interest groups.
